Year 5
The three topics covered in Year 5 are:
Me - Autumn Term
Children will revise numbers to 40, phonics and months to talk about their and other's birthdays as well as their age. They will learn how to use the pronouns he / she.
Sports and Hobbies - Spring Term
Children will learn how to talk about sports and hobbies, express their likes and dislikes and use more complex sentences. They will also learn more about the French-speaking countries around the world.
Space - Summer Term
Through the topic of space children will learn ordinal numbers, how to use a range of adjectives accurately and comparatives.
