Mission Grove children (Year 5 and Year 6) had an exploratory Music workshop with the composer of “Meadowsong”, Kate Stillitz, to write a bespoke song cycle for Waltham Forest.

The children visited Lloyds Park to get some creative ideas and to help shape Kate's work. The children were very enthusiastic an spoke about their local environment and what it means to live / come to school in Walthamstow.

By summer term, Kate will be sharing the song she has created with Mission Grove children's input.
