Mission Grove is lucky enough to have a farm on both sites. The children care for rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks and chickens as part of our curriculum. 

There is also a Wildlife Area on both sites. During Enrichment and to enhance other curriculum areas, children have the opportunity to learn about plants and animals, how we can care for our environment and plant a variety of plants, fruits and vegetables. 

On the North Site, there is also a pond, Biodome and bird hut which all Mission Grove children can use.  

Cookery facilities are available on both sites and are used throughout the year with a focus on healthy eating. 

Children use Lego We Do to learn about scientific concepts like pulleys.
