PE in Reception

Physical Development:

In PE, our topic for this term is 'Dance' and we had to pretend to be sea creatures. We had to explore and remember sea animal actions changing speed and direction. We pretended to be different animals such as an octopus (bouncing up and down), a shark (running very fast), and a stingray (gliding in spaces by stretching our arms). We really enjoyed being a 'crab' moving with the 'under the sea' music. We had to walk in a side by side direction, moving our fingers up and down as if they were pincers.

As you can see from the pictures, it was a great time. We were able to travel with confidence and make positive comments on our classmates' actions about the sea animals.
