ART LESSONS (SPRING 2)
EYFS:
We looked at Giuseppe’s Art. The children were keen to explore how Giuseppe used fruits and vegetables to make portraits of people and had a go at exploring ways to make their own fresh fruit and vegetable portraits.
We looked at some famous flower artists such as Georgia O’Keefe, Van Gogh and Salvador Dali. We focussed on the colours that were used in the paintings and collected the right colour paints ourselves. We then spent a week recreating our own versions of the famous flower arts. We even swapped the paints out for finger inks and discovered lots of different techniques such as dotting and smudging.
