We proudly took part in Road Safety Week 2025! Our TfL Explorer Ambassadors launched the week with a whole-school Road Safety Assembly, helping us kick things off with important messages about staying safe on the roads.
Throughout the week, pupils took part in special PSHE lessons and activities focused on safe travel. We also ran Cycle Training Sessions for competent riders, giving them the skills and confidence to travel safely on two wheels.
To finish the week, we celebrated with a vibrant “Be Bright, Be Seen” non-uniform day, reminding everyone of the importance of visibility when out and about.
We also held a Road Safety Poster Competition and had lots of fantastic entries!

“I learnt that you should always look left and right before you cross the road.”

“You should always wear bright clothes in the darker seasons so people can see you.”

“I learnt many things about cycle safety. One new thing I learnt was that children under 10 should not cycle on their own in public places.”

“I learnt that you should cross the road safely and always stop, look, listen and think — using the Green Cross Code.”
