Now>Press>Play is an immersive audio experience that brings learning to life for primary pupils by placing them at the heart of the action. Using wireless headphones, children are transported into exciting, curriculum-linked adventures where they become the main character—encouraging active participation, imagination, and empathy.
The experiences cover a wide range of subjects including English, science, history, geography, and PSHE, making it a powerful cross-curricular tool. By combining storytelling, movement, and sound, Now>Press>Play supports engagement, reinforces learning objectives, and is especially beneficial for kinaesthetic and auditory learners.
The children cannot get enough of these immersive experiences. They say:
"That was amazing, I feel like I was transported into another dimension" - Year 5 pupil
"I love the sounds of the water falling. It makes me feel like I am in a dream" - Year 5 pupil
"I liked it when the Elephant sprayed me with water. That was very funny!" - Reception pupil
"I never concentrated so hard in my life. I really enjoyed it!" - Year 6 pupil
"My favourite was the thunder sounds. That was loud" - Year 1 pupil
Here, Reception are engaging in "Transport" experience where they travelled to France!
Today we imagined we were hungry children looking for a suitable environment to grow crops for food. We learned how plants need the right soil to develop strong roots and grow healthy but they also need a combination of light, water and warmth. If one is missing the plant can’t grow well.
Today we imagined we were aliens visiting Earth and visiting different habitats. We learned how animals live in suitable habitats (fish in the sea, monkeys in trees) and that they are well adapted to their habitats (fish have gills and fins, monkeys have tails). We also learned that habitats provide food, water and shelter for the basic needs of animals and plants.
