The year 1 ,2 & 3 final will be at 9.30am on north and the year 4,5 & 6 will be at 10 am . Family are welcome to come and support.

Rules 

The children will compete against other children in their year. They will take it in turn to spell out a word.

The judge will read a word and put it in context. The pupil then spells the word pronouncing each letter distinctly and with sufficient volume for the judges to understand. The speller may ask for the word again. If the speller gets it incorrect, they are eliminated. 

If all spellers in a round misspell a word incorrectly, all remain in the competition and a new spelling round begins.
