Harvest Festival Foodbank Collection – October & November

As part of our Harvest Festival celebrations, we will be collecting donations throughout October and November to support families in our school community and those who may be experiencing difficult times.

Harvest is a time to reflect on what we have and how we can help others. We are incredibly grateful for any donations families are able to contribute, as even a small contribution can make a real difference.

What items are we looking for?

We would particularly welcome donations of unopened, in-date, non-perishable food and essential household items, including:

    • Tinned goods: soup, baked beans, vegetables, fruit, tomatoes, meat and fish.

    • Dried foods: pasta, rice, noodles and lentils.

    • Breakfast essentials: cereal, porridge oats and long-life milk.

    • Store-cupboard items: pasta sauces, cooking oil, tea, coffee and long-life juice.

    • Snacks and treats: biscuits, crackers and other suitable family-friendly treats.

    • Toiletries and household essentials: toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, shower gel, soap and toilet roll.

Please ensure that all food donations are unopened, undamaged and within their use-by or best-before dates.

Please note: What can’t we accept?

For safety and storage reasons, we are unable to accept:

    • Fresh, chilled or frozen food, including fridge and freezer items.

    • Homemade food or homemade products.

    • Opened packets or part-used products.

    • Damaged packaging or food past its use-by date.

Thank you for helping us ensure that all donations can be stored safely and distributed appropriately.
