Literacy Week - 19th November to 23rd November
We are celebrating Literacy all week next week, with many different activities, including:
- Special assemblies and workshops
- Buddy reading sessions
- 'Guess the Teacher' poetry competition
- Poetry Slam
Please keep an eye out on Twitter and the website for photos and work by the children, and keep reading!
Book Fair - Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd November
Your child should have already brought home their envelope for the Book Fair. The south site will be hosting the book fair on Wednesday, 21st November, and the Year 5 classes and Waxwing class will also be walking over on this date. The north site will be on Thursday, 22nd November. Most books are between £4 and £6, and a percentage of all sales is donated to the school. You are welcome to purchase books after school on both sites.
