Each year the dates vary – depending on the lunar cycle – but in 2020 Ramadan takes place from Thursday 23 April until Saturday 23 May. Ramadan is a time for daytime fasting and spiritual reflection, as well as a chance to spend time with family and friends. Fasting during Ramadan – which is one of the five pillars of Islam – is seen as a way to learn patience and break bad habits, as well as an opportunity become closer to God.

St. George's Day is celebrated on 23rd April.
Happy St. George's Day!
The theme for Earth Day 2020 is climate action. The enormous challenge — but also the vast opportunities — of action on climate change have distinguished the issue as the most pressing topic for the 50th anniversary.
Climate change represents the biggest challenge to the future of humanity and the life-support systems that make our world habitable.
Every week the word count for each child is checked and we know that not everyone is reading everyday. Parents this is an easy task that you can do with your child. Listen to them read and read with them. On the learning page we have staff reading stories that your child can sit and listen to.
