The children in year 5 have been reading Street Child. To link with their non screen day they had a Victoian day to go back in time and experience school life. Ryan: It turned out a lot better than I predicted Mabel: I liked pretending we were Victorian children and I liked trying the gruel Katia: The cross-stitch was clam Nadjat: Fun and adventurous Mrs Osborne: An exhausting day but one that I would repeat again and again...the children stepped back in time with real gusto!
