The trip didn't start so great. We were expecting the coach at 10.30am, but the coach company had been told 12.30 by PGL. Then after a fairly smooth ride to Southampton we finally boarded the ferry for it to move forward for 5 minutes then return to dock due to engine failure. We finally arrived at PGL at 8.30, hungry and tired. Unfortunately, the kitchen staff had all left for the evening so instead of a warm meal we had a sandwich. Things could only get better!
