Today was the 2nd full Saturday that we practised our acting and singing, and improved on our incredible tree climbing craft. We started the day with a big stretch, recapped on safety rules and procedures, then got fitted in our safety harnesses and helmets. After that, we were eager to race each other to the tree tops, the area where some of us will be singing in the concert. Today, we were all able to climb at least 20 feet high. The amazing thing about was that we were able to rock, swing and even sway upside down, and we were completely safe. So exhilerating! After we had our packed lunch, we then split into groups, some of us practising our acting and some of our singing. Finally, we did a short run through with two choirs that will be joining us on both nights- Tottenham Community Choir and the London Forest Choir. We were very proud of ourselves- it was only our 2nd full day of rehearsals, yet we remembered all the lyrics, melodies and expressions. We simply cannot wait until October the 18th!
