In Autumn 1, Year 1 learnt all about food: healthy food, food from Victorian times and 'Tiger' food eaten by the Tiger Who Came To Tea! As part of our studies we went on a trip to Walthamstow market to find out where in the world all the fruit and vegetables came from. We also made a shopping list and bought lots of fresh vegetables for the healthy pizzas we had designed. We even visited the oldest shop on the market, Manze's Pie and Mash shop.
