Year 2s were very lucky to have Sandra from LFB come in to do a fire safety workshop which ties in nicely with our Great Fire of London unit. Children were informed about prevention, escape and detection. They understood the role of a firefighter, the importance of a smoke alarm and how to keep safe from a fire.

They will be coming home with a fire plan and a home fire safety checklist.
