Our Year 4 pupils travelled back in time for an incredible Anglo-Saxon and Viking workshop! ⚔️🛡️

They explored daily life in settlements, examined weapons, and learned how communities lived during the times of the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings.

The children tried their hand at rune writing with the feather pens, played traditional games, and even took part in an exciting (and very noisy!) shield wall battle. They also had the chance to handle replica helmets and shields, a real highlight of the day!

A fantastic, hands-on experience that truly brought history to life. Well done, Year 4!
