We are looking to appoint an Inclusion Manager/SENDco to work as part of our SEND team to start as soon as possible. This is a key role within the school which involves working closely with our school’s Senior Leadership Team. You will provide administrative, pastoral and management support for the learning programme of our SEND pupils.
You will be responsible for liaising with external support agencies, parents, teachers and teaching assistants, and will co-ordinate information for planning and review meetings. You will need to demonstrate a caring attitude, flexibility and be able to respond to the needs of our pupils. The role requires someone who has the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, has good administrative skills and is a confident and clear communicator.
This role may suit someone with experience of working with children with SEND in class but is now looking for experience in a management and coordinator role. Or someone with excellent organisational skills and a great deal of empathy that is keen to work in a school setting.
In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023 and safer recruitment practices, the school will conduct an online search for shortlisted candidates. The online search is part of our safeguarding checks and will seek publicly available information on candidates’ suitability to work with children.
The Headteacher, Miss Jennings, welcomes visits for interested candidates.
