Our Literacy Council meet every half-term to discuss all things English! Our Councillors will suggest ways of improving English across the school.

This term, Councillors decided on a rota system to support children reading on the bus at lunchtimes – Thank you!

For World Book Day 2026, our Councillors raised concerns around the 'stress' WBD may cause children in deciding on an outfit. They then suggested dressing up in our Pyjamas and bringing our favourite book – A great solution!

When we return after Easter, councillors will be reflecting on ways to improve their English lessons as well as discussing our up-and-coming POETRY SLAM!
