Empire’s End: A Roman Story by Leila Rasheed is about a girl called Camilla who lives in a rich Roman city in North Africa. Her family moves to Britain, a cold and unfamiliar place far from home. At first, Camilla is excited, but things change when something sad happens and she is left on her own. She must learn how to be brave, make new friends, and understand a very different world. This story shows what life was like in Roman times and how people from many different places were part of the Roman Empire.
