Hello Chaffinch. I have quite a few things that I am asking you to do this week but hopefully some will be quite fun for you.

This week is Sports Week so please try to complete some sports or fitness activities or games at home. Have a look at our Sports Week page for ideas that you can do at home.

As well as sports, this week we are also asking you to take part in the Big Outdoor Challenge. Gather some things you have found outside (sticks, stones, leaves) and create patterns or pictures with them. Then take a picture of them and send it to us.

Andy Goldsworthy is an artist who creates some extremely vivid art in nature using things that we finds like leaves, sticks and stones.

This is some children's artwork inspired by Andy Goldsworthy.

Please also use your AR login and password to complete your Star Reading and Star Maths tests this week. These should take about 20 minutes and must be completed by you without any help. Remember to have a piece of paper beside you to use written calculations during your Maths test. If you do not know the answer to a question, try your best to work it out and then wait for it to move onto the next question rather than guessing.
If you have a choice of Early Reading or Star Reading, please pick Star Reading.

Amelia has been practising how to tell the time.

Raya has been using beautiful neat handwriting joins and created a great poster about the needs of living things. She has also been reading clocks and telling the time.

Angelica has been reading the times shown on clocks. She also identified the features of instructions nad practised her handwriting joins. Angelica has made a rain maker and a pop up card as well.
